The City of Palm Coast is inviting residents to join a collective effort to keep our city pristine and litter-free during its latest Keep PC Clean event taking place on Saturday, April 11 from 8am to 12pm. Volunteers will meet at the Public Works Department at 1 Wellfield Grade, just off US-1, to gather necessary supplies.

Numerous roadways have been earmarked as focus areas for the event, including Palm Coast Parkway, Belle Terre Parkway, Belle Terre Boulevard, and more. Participants are also encouraged to choose their own areas for cleanup. Please note that participants must provide their own transportation to designated cleanup areas. The last Keep PC Clean event saw over 30 volunteers collect over 750 lbs. of waste throughout the city.

“Our Keep PC Clean events over the past few years have seen tremendous growth and it’s great to see our community coming together to make strides in keeping our city waste-free,” said Residential Solid Waste Collections Supervisor Alyssa Roscoe. “We enjoy a great quality of life here in our city and Keep PC Clean is a mission that really looks to uphold that standard for years to come.”

Every volunteer will receive a Certificate of Completion and be acknowledged as a "Litter-Free Ambassador" for their invaluable contributions to our community's cleanliness.

The event itinerary is as follows:

8 - 8:30 AM: Briefing & introduction, along with location assignments

9 -11:30 AM: On-site cleanup

11:30 PM: Closing Ceremony to Celebrate a Litter-Free Victory back at Public Works

The City of Palm Coast will provide litter-ready gloves, eco-friendly trash bags, refreshments, and necessary safety measures for a successful cleanup day. Participation in the event is entirely free, and the city welcomes all volunteers that are eager to make a positive impact in our community. Students looking to attain volunteer hours can do so during this event. Individuals or groups interested in volunteering can reach out via email to Solidwastedivision@palmcoastgov.com
