The City of Palm Coast, in partnership with Vavarde Strategies, will host a second public forum to continue the community conversation about a proposed roof addition to The Stage at Town Center. The City of Palm Coast, in partnership with Vavarde Strategies, will host a second public forum to continue the community conversation about a proposed roof addition to The Stage at Town Center. The meeting will take place on Monday, April 6, from 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. at the Palm Coast Community Center.

This forum builds on a previous meeting held in March, where residents were first introduced to the concept and invited to share initial feedback. The upcoming session will provide an opportunity to revisit the proposal, answer questions, and gather additional community input as the City continues exploring the project.

The proposed roof structure is being considered as a way to enhance The Stage at Town Center by providing shade and weather protection, allowing for more consistent, year-round use of the space for events, performances, and community gatherings.

Vavarde Strategies, a firm that specializes in strategic planning, community engagement, and fundraising for public projects, is working with the City to evaluate the feasibility of the enhancement. Their role includes helping identify potential funding opportunities, facilitating public input, and guiding the planning process to ensure the project reflects community priorities.

“This is a continuation of an important community conversation,” said James Hirst, Director of Parks and Recreation. “The Stage at Town Center is a space that brings people together, and we want to make sure any future enhancements reflect what our residents want to see and experience.”

Representatives from Vavarde Strategies will be present at the forum to share insights, discuss potential pathways forward, and listen directly to feedback from attendees.

No decisions have been made regarding the project. The forum is intended to provide transparency, gather input, and ensure residents have a voice in shaping the future of The Stage at Town Center.

Residents are encouraged to attend, ask questions, and be part of the discussion.
