City Council Workshop on July 8, at 6 p.m.

The Palm Coast City Council meets regularly to discuss and vote on official City business. These meetings are open to the public, and Palm Coast residents are strongly encouraged to attend. An increase in public engagement helps to build a stronger sense of community, increase valuable discussions, and decrease division.

The agenda for the City Council Workshop on Tuesday, July 8, at 6 p.m. will be as follows:

Resolutions

The following resolution items will be made:

1. The Community Development Department will present a resolution approving the preliminary nuisance abatement assessment roll for 2025. This resolution allows the City to include nuisance abatement costs as non-ad valorem assessments on the annual property tax bills for properties where the City has addressed public nuisances, such as overgrown lots or unsafe conditions.

Presentations

The following presentations will be made:

1. The Financial Services Department will present the proposed Fiscal Year 2026 budgets for the General Fund, Information Technology (IT) Operations, and Facilities, along with an overview of Truth in Millage (TRIM) rate options.
2. The Stormwater and Engineering Department will present an annual update on the Stormwater Master Plan. This presentation will highlight progress on stormwater system improvements, ongoing maintenance initiatives, and future plans to ensure the City’s stormwater infrastructure continues to protect homes, roads, and natural resources.

Public Comments will be opened at the beginning and end of the workshop in accordance with Section 286.0114, Florida Statutes, and pursuant to the City Council’s Meeting Policies and Procedures. Each speaker will approach the podium, provide his/her name, and may speak for up to 3 minutes.

Please note that no proclamations are scheduled for this specific meeting. Additionally, public comments on non-agenda items will be limited to 30 minutes at the beginning and end of each meeting. This schedule is subject to change due to holidays or other unforeseen circumstances.
