After a recent inspection by the City of Palm Coast Public Works Department, unstable ground was located beneath the access road between Ameris Bank and South State Bank off Cypress Point Parkway. Due to the safety risk this presents, this road is closed until further notice.

The City’s Stormwater and Code Enforcement teams have actively monitored and addressed concerns in this vicinity over recent years. Conditions have now deteriorated to the point where a road closure is necessary to ensure safety.

Access to both banks, as well as the adjacent plaza, will be available through multiple alternative routes, including:

  • Cypress Edge North at its intersection with Cypress Point Parkway
  • The main plaza entrance at the traffic light on Cypress Point Parkway
  • Palm Coast Parkway SW, which leads into the plaza

We appreciate the public’s understanding and cooperation as we work with the property owners to resolve this issue. Updates will be provided as more information becomes available.
