How do I find out about upcoming special events?

Answer

Many special events are held throughout the year. They can be found under the What’s Happening section of the City website as well as on our calendar.


From the Annual Tree Recycling event in January to the Starlight Parade in December, new and different events are offered every month.


Movies in the Park is a monthly special event that runs from March through October. This family friendly activity is free and one of the many family focused special events that the Parks & Recreation Department offers.


Food Truck Tuesdays is an event offered the third Tuesday of every month from March through October. It is held at Central Park in Town Center and is from 5-8 p.m. The event features a variety of food trucks and eatery options that range from international cuisine to barbecue to sweets.
