Under the direction of the Service Desk Supervisor, this position involves performing advanced technical work in systems analysis, design, and management for major installations and support systems across the City. Responsibilities include providing comprehensive technical support for network systems, applications, servers, desktop hardware, peripheral equipment, and operating systems citywide, ensuring seamless automated data management. The role also entails implementing and maintaining the City's technical infrastructure, designing and configuring systems as needed, and supporting new or enhanced service offerings. Additionally, the position requires adherence to established policies and procedures to maintain the reliability and effectiveness of network and desktop systems while providing technical assistance to City departments.
It is preferred that candidates should have an associate degree in Management Information Systems, Computer Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, along with at least three (3) years of progressive experience in computer systems, peripherals, and hardware/software operations and repairs. A valid Florida Driver's License is required.
