The construction of Waterfront Park Improvement project is making steady progress as contractors are currently installing a concrete boat access ramp and a floating dock launch pad. These new additions will bring great joy to kayak enthusiasts, providing them with an exceptional opportunity to fully enjoy the park when they are finished.

Eric Gebo, Stormwater & Engineering Architect for the City of Palm Coast, gave a brief project update on the construction being done at Waterfront Park in Palm Coast, Florida.

Eric explains the ongoing changes at the site and the upcoming phase of construction. Currently, the contractors are installing a concrete boat access ramp and floating dock launch pad. The coquina revetment, designed to protect the shoreline, has been finished. The next phase of construction will be to complete the sidewalk installation and fully landscape the property.

This project is on-time with an expected date of completion for mid-August 2023. Residents are still able to access the shell path while the construction is ongoing.
