Extended Detour Implemented for Matanzas Woods Parkway from July 5-7

The City of Palm Coast received a notification from the contractor on Wednesday, July 5, regarding the need for an extended detour on Matanzas Woods Parkway. Due to the requirement of full asphalt removal beyond Londonderry Drive, this closure will affect the stretch of Matanzas Woods Parkway from the roundabout at US 1 to the intersection of Belle Terre Parkway and Matanzas Woods Parkway.

To facilitate the detour, traffic will be redirected south on US 1 until reaching the intersection with Palm Coast Parkway. Once at the Palm Coast Parkway intersection, motorists are advised to make a left turn (east) onto Palm Coast Parkway. Follow Palm Coast Parkway until reaching the intersection with Belle Terre Parkway, where a left turn (north) onto Belle Terre Parkway should be made. Continue along Belle Terre Parkway until reaching the intersection with Matanzas Woods Parkway. At this point, vehicles must make a right turn (east) onto Matanzas Woods Parkway.

This detour will enable drivers to navigate around the closed section of Matanzas Woods Parkway and reach their desired destination. The City of Palm Coast appreciates the cooperation and understanding during this period of temporary disruption.
