All City of Palm Coast offices will be closed Monday, July 3, through Tuesday, July 4, for the Independence Day holiday. Offices will re-open on Wednesday, July 5, at 8 a.m. Garbage and recycling collection will proceed according to the regular schedule.

Join us on Tuesday, July 4, for United Flagler 4th Community Celebration. New this year, Flagler County Government, the Cities of Palm Coast, Flagler Beach, and Bunnell, and the Towns of Beverly Beach and Marineland have joined together to provide a full day of activities for Flagler County residents and visitors.

Kicking off the day-long festivities is the beloved Stars and Stripes parade, presented by the Rotary Club of Flagler Beach. The parade will start promptly at 10:00 a.m. and follow its customary route from North 6th Street to South 6th Street along A1A in Flagler Beach.

Following the parade, from 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., both residents and visitors can bask in the scenic beauty of the beach while enjoying the music and entertainment provided by DJ Vern from SURF 97.3 FM at Veterans Park in Flagler Beach. There will be events running all day long, including a dunk tank, contests, bounce houses, line dancing, and performances by the U.S. Navy band from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. Satisfy your taste buds by supporting local businesses and dining at one of the numerous restaurants countywide, and "Be Local Buy Local!”

The main event will be the spectacular Fireworks Over the Runways, taking place at the Flagler Executive Airport located at 201 Airport Road in Palm Coast. The entire community is invited to attend, with gates opening at 5:00 p.m. The breathtaking fireworks display will begin at 9:00 p.m.

There are two options for parking for the fireworks. Option 1 is to park at FPC High School and walk to the airport (approximately 0.5 miles), crossing State Road 100. The front of the airport will have the main stage, vendors, and limited activities. Option 2 is parking on Fin Way off of Belle Terre Boulevard on the south side of the airport, which is for fireworks viewing only, with no vendors. All details are available at: UnitedFlagler4th.com
