Pool Credit Request

The City of Palm Coast Utility Department provides residents with the opportunity to request a credit for filling their pools. This credit applies solely to the sewer portion of their bill, not the water portion. Residential accounts are not charged for sewer usage over 8,000 gallons per month. To qualify for the pool credit, residents must have had an average usage of under 8,000 gallons per month for the past 6-8 months.

The Utility Department will provide residents with the opportunity to request a credit for filling their pools. This credit applies solely to the sewer portion of their bill, not the water portion. Residential accounts are not charged for sewer usage over 8,000 gallons per month. To qualify for the pool credit, residents must have had an average usage of under 8,000 gallons per month for the past 6-8 months.

Guidelines:

  • A request must be submitted within 60 days of filling the pool.
  • Pool credits will not be given if a credit was given in the last 24 months. 
  • Submitting a request for a pool credit does not relieve you of your obligations to pay the amount billed by its due date. If your account is past due or subject to disconnection, payment made to prevent disconnection and the assessment of additional fees. 

You will not be eligible for a pool credit for the following:

  • Filled the pool with the irrigation meter.
  • Commercial pools are not eligible.
  • Any credit that is $10.00 and under will not be given.
