By issuing the proclamation for the local state of emergency, it allows the City to obtain resources on an emergency basis. It also allows for state and federal resources to quickly flow to the area.

Gov. Ron DeSantis issued Executive Order 22-218 on Saturday, September 24, declaring a state of emergency for all 67 counties in Florida.

At this time, the City of Palm Coast is monitoring Hurricane Ian and preparing for any possible impacts it may bring to the area. The City has activated the emergency mode on the website to provide vital information easily to residents.

The City of Palm Coast will staff its call center for residents beginning Tuesday at 7 a.m. Residents are highly encouraged to use Palm Coast Connect to submit a case before calling the phone number. If you need to call Customer Service, the number to call is 386-986-2360.

Sandbag operations are ongoing Monday until 6 p.m. and Tuesday from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. at three locations throughout Palm Coast:
