Host an Event in Palm Coast

Are you looking to host an event in Palm Coast? This page is your resource for everything you need to know to have a safe and fun event!

Special Event Portal

Want to track or request a special event? You can now manage and upload documents all in one place.

The City of Palm Coast is proud to work with numerous organizations that choose to host their events in our beautiful city. Our Special Events Review Team (SERT) was created to assist these organizations in providing critical resources they may need. All events held within the City of Palm Coast must go through the SERT process. There is no fee to submit an event request; however, fees do apply for permitting and additional services deemed necessary. The SERT process will determine whether your event qualifies as a “special event” and requires services. SERT aims to help facilitate events by providing services at the event coordinator's cost. Services may include public safety, traffic control or direction, road closures, emergency medical services, maintenance, and more.

The SERT Process

Submit Special Events Request Form

Login to the special event portal and submit a request. This portal will gather general information about your event and organization. There is no cost associated with this request form. The City requests that all events begin the SERT process 6 months prior to the event date.

SERT Review

Your completed application will be brought to the Special Events Review Team (SERT) for review, and you will receive a request to attend a SERT Meeting. They are held on the last Monday of the month from 2-4:30 pm. You will be sent an email invite for your Microsoft Teams meeting with the specific scheduled time. If you choose to appear in person, please contact staff so accommodation can be made. SERT consists of representatives from City departments and the Flagler County Sheriff's Office.

Determination

SERT will determine if your event qualifies as a special event. A special event is an event that requires the use of City and/or County services. If your event is deemed a special event, SERT will provide continued support throughout the event planning and execution. Events deemed NOT special events may be held without further SERT assistance.
