The City of Palm Coast is looking for a meticulous and technically skilled Intern to develop, maintain, and expand our organization's 3-GIS systems software and computing infrastructure. The Intern's duties will focus on the maintenance and support of our fiber optic assets application. Duties also include managing systems performance, identifying and fixing defects using support channels, supporting data architecture, data analysis, generating reports, and mitigating potential risk. Your expertise will assist our organization in increasing efficiency and service through implementation, maintenance, and streamlining of our computing systems and programs.

The ideal candidate for this role must possess superior coding skills, excellent communication, high concentration levels, good task management, and superior problem solving and critical thinking skills. 

Applicants should be enrolled in a college program with major course work in Management Information Systems, Computer Technology, Computer Science or related field preferred. Two (2) years knowledgeable and skilled experience in data analysis and development, including coding, testing, debugging and maintaining various programs and technologies is preferred; or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
