BS-2 Surface Water Control Structure
Located on Bird of Paradise Drive, BT-2 is a cross connection between the Northern and Central Bellaire Waterways. This cross connection is normally closed but during storm events the City opens the connection to provide better drainage to the Northern Bellaire Waterway. In times of drought opening this connection helps to supply irrigation water to the Palm Harbor Golf Course.
Shown below is the water level for BS-2 Surface Water Control Structure for the past 24 hours. The blue line represents the Designed Normal Water Level which is 21.0 feet, while the red line represents the Designed High Water Level at 24.4 feet.
